Louisiana's #1 Party Rock Cover Band

Flamethrowers have been melting faces all across the Gulf Coast since 2005. This high energy group of twenty-somethings from Louisiana have toured extensively, opening for such national acts as Candlebox, Toad The Wet Sprocket, and Sister Hazel and have sold out large capacity venues including The Varsity Theater in Baton Rouge, LA and The Swamp in Fort Walton Beach, FL. These kids, all seasoned veterans of the cover band circuit, know exactly how to kick out the jams, playing the greatest Rock N’ Roll party songs from the 50s to today through amplifiers that go all the way up to eleven.

Band Members

Joseph Darbonne

Guitar & Vocals

Joseph may look young, but he’s been performing in bands for 20 years and knows what works.  As a singer, he’s developed a specialty in vocal mimicry.  Whether it's Jackie Wilson or Alanis Morrisette, his performance will sound like the original record.  With this group of musicians, he’s never been more confident that he can make any event not only memorable, but talked-about for years to come.

Logan Fontenot

Guitar & Vocals

Old home movies of Logan singing and dancing to records is proof that he’s had a love of performing from the beginning. A self-taught musician, he’s been playing guitar for 16 years and has performed for stage productions, churches, and various recordings(one of which won Radio 6 International’s Record of the Year). He loves Motown and James Brown and tries to bring that vibe wherever he plays.

Dominique Meyer

Dominique is no stranger to performing. She’s been subjecting her friends and family (willing or not) to performances for years. Active in dance and chorus for most of her life, the transition to live music has been an exciting challenge. Where she lacks experience, she excels in energy, enthusiasm, and spunk. Her inspirations range from Ella Fitzgerald to Ellie Goulding. In her own words, she is truly “Livin’ the dream.”

Taylor Lee

Taking a cue from his guitar-playing dad, Taylor started playing bass at age 11 and hasn't stopped since. He sharpened his skills while studying jazz at the University of New Orleans and continues to play with bands across all genres of music. His love of music is apparent in every show he plays, and you can always count on him to bring the "bass face."

Chad Townsend

With 20+ years of playing and 10 years of teaching experience, Chad brings a comfort and calm to the Flamethrowers strong rhythm section. Growing up with a family very involved in music and different musical styles has made him the perfect match for the Flamethrowers family.

Wesley Royer

Wesley has been playing piano for 9 years, and has been in the Flamethrowers since 2012. At age 18, he was invited to play for the 2011 Revolution Drum & Bugle Corps, a DCI open class corps that performs across the country. He also teaches music locally.
